Mission
Background
Catherine Jordan has been working in the Disaster and Emergency Management field for over 12 years, during which she has maintained a critical role in providing strategic planning and technical advice to support a wide range of disaster operations and exercises in the Townsville region. Throughout this time, she has established extensive networks across various government and non-government sectors, as well as with numerous not-for-profit agencies, community groups and local businesses, in order to establish effective and sustainable disaster and emergency management processes for the local community.
In addition to her wealth of knowledge and experience in emergency management and contingency planning processes, Catherine brings with her a keen ability to engage effectively and collaboratively with stakeholders, exceptional drive and level of commitment, as well as the ability to provide strong attention to detail while maintaining a “big picture” perspective.
